From Victoria’s heritage streets to the towering timber of Cathedral Grove, it was all pure drama — with orcas and humpback whales and a wild drive alongside the Pacific Rim Freeway which lead me to distant steaming sizzling springs!

Going for afternoon tea on the iconic 5-star Fairmont Empress – I like the dreamy waterfront location, the elegant decor, the fragile muffins and finger sandwiches and the truth that the honey was harvested from the resort’s very personal hives!

I simply beloved this huge and unspoilt park! It was simply gorgeous with huge landscapes that includes towering mountains, glowing lakes set towards the backdrop of the rugged Canadian Rockies. To me it felt tranquil and adventurous and I discovered it bigger however much less crowded and commerlized than its well-known neighbor Banff.

Montreal felt daring, inventive, and filled with persona. Sure, it had its rougher edges, however Previous Montreal was gorgeous — historic facades, cobbled streets, a vigorous Previous Port, and an irresistible European really feel of cafés, boutiques, grand columns, and ornate church buildings.

Then I discovered this cute little fella making a nest and sleeping!

This tiny northern city felt like nowhere else I’ve ever been — distant, wild, and sitting proper on Hudson Bay, with untamed landscapes and unforgettable wildlife encounters. Referred to as the Polar Bear Capital of the World for good purpose (I truly noticed 40 of them in at some point!), and locals stated in late summer season when beluga whales flood the bay.

I took the 2-hour flight from Winnipeg and stayed at Bears Den Visitor Home II. I joined thrilling polar bear tundra excursions, visited the historic Prince of Wales Fort (solely reachable by boat) and even noticed the northern lights due to the excessive latitude and minimal gentle air pollution — unforgettable!
